The Two-Part Plan to Become Wise


God's actions against those who rebelled against him reveal the foolishness of their ungodly choices. There are two parts to avoiding such folly. First, we must fear the Lord. What God commands us to do must be important, and the consequences of disobedience should also matter to each of us. This reverent fear is the beginning of wisdom. Second, wisdom reaches fulfillment when His commands matter so much to us that we willingly obey them.
