About
Pastor Phil Wade was born in Knoxville, TN in 1962. He graduated from Coosa High School in Rome, Georgia, in 1980, then attended Shorter College in Rome, Georgia, and graduated with a Masters of Theology from North Carolina College of Theology. Pastor Phil joined Team Northside in October of 2012, after serving as Senior Pastor at Trinity Baptist Church in Ocala FL. He married Keli Wade, from Rome, GA, in 1981. He has two children and five grandchildren. His passion is to know Jesus more, love people more and serve Jesus by serving people more. He enjoys serving as Northside's lead pastor in Rome, Georgia, which enables him to “develop Godly leaders causing them to live beyond themselves.” Pastor Phil enjoys being involved with Nations of Coaches as a character coach for the Berry College men's and women's basketball teams. He was a part of First Impression Ministries for 13 years. In his free time, Pastor Phil enjoys hunting, golfing and watching movies.
