Am I Worthy?

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, to proclaim the virtues of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. - 1 Peter 2:9

I had someone, just the other day, tell me that he would not pray because he was not worthy to pray. He based this on his lack of service to the Lord over the past few years of him walking in a dry spiritual state . Truth is, we will never find our worth until we find God. Digging deeper than our fallen nature, we can discover the nature of God in us. This sanctifying work allows us to walk in his truth. The truth of our worthiness and him. This truth of God‘s love demands that we no longer live a slaves, but as children of the king. The truth of God demands that we rest in what Jesus did for us, not what we can do for him.

You are chosen, you are worthy to call upon His name.
