Advancing God’s Kingdom

“Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” - Matthew 6:10 NKJV

The only way the believer will ever advance the kingdom of God is by the power of the Holy Spirit that resides in us as God followers. I define the kingdom agenda as the visible manifestation of God’s rule over every area of our lives. We must remember that the Holy Spirit did not come just so we could know Him. He wants to empower us to accomplish God’s kingdom agenda advanced here on earth.

Watch this. When we became a part of God’s kingdom through salvation, we are to come under His rule. If we desire to see the Spirit of God in power and might then we must make sure we are involved in God’s kingdom agenda by being under God’s kingdom rule. If we are asking the Holy Spirit to bless our kingdom, that is not what God is doing. God is after His kingdom, not our tainted personal agenda.

Holy Spirit, I am Yours. Have Your way in me. I will do what You want done the way You want it done. I will seek to glorify Christ and build God’s kingdom. Be real in me because I want all of You. I give You all of me so I can advance God’s kingdom agenda on earth.
