When the Need Exceeds Your Faith

There are moments when the problem in front of you feels larger than the faith within you. Scripture doesn’t hide that struggle. A desperate father once cried out to Jesus,

“Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!” (Mark 9:24, NKJV).

His faith was imperfect, yet Jesus still responded.

God is not waiting for flawless faith—He responds to honest faith. When your need feels overwhelming, bring Him both your belief and your doubts. Faith doesn’t have to be loud; it only has to lean in His direction. Even a trembling prayer reaches a steady Savior.

When you don’t have enough faith for tomorrow, ask for enough faith for today. Trust that His strength fills the gap between what you feel and what you need. The size of your faith matters less than the One you place it in.

Father, help us in our unbelief! Amen.
