A New Thing

Isaiah 43:18 - 19

Do not remember the former things,

Nor consider the things of old.

Behold, I will do a new thing,

Now it shall spring forth.

Shall you not know it?

I will even make a road in the wilderness

And rivers in the desert.

As the year comes to an end, God calls us not to stay focused on what is behind us. The past may hold both victories and disappointments, but it does not define what God can do next. He invites us to look forward with expectation.

God promises to do a new thing, something fresh, life giving, and purposeful. Even when the path ahead feels unclear or dry, He is able to create a way where none seems possible. As we enter the New Year, our role is to trust Him, remain attentive, and walk forward in faith.

Lord, thank You for carrying us through this year. Help us release the past and trust You with what lies ahead. Open our eyes to the new thing You are doing. Amen. - Jeff Foster
