Do We Trust God — Or Do We Not?
“Faith goes up the stairs that love has built and looks out the window which hope has opened.” — Charles Spurgeon
Trust is easy to talk about but harder to live. It shows up most clearly when life feels uncertain—when prayers seem delayed, when doors close, or when the path ahead looks unclear.
To trust God means:
- Believing He sees what we cannot.
- Accepting that His timing may not match ours.
- Choosing faith over fear, even when emotions say otherwise.
In the Book of Isaiah 26:3, we are reminded that “God keeps in perfect peace those whose minds are stayed on Him.” Peace is the evidence of trust. Worry is often the evidence that we are trying to carry what belongs to God.
The question isn’t whether God is trustworthy—His character never changes. The real question is whether we will release control and place our confidence in Him fully.
Today, pause and ask yourself:
- Am I trusting God only when things make sense?
- Or am I trusting Him even when they don’t?
- Trust isn’t a feeling—it’s a decision. And every day, we get to choose.
Prayer:
Lord, help me to trust You completely. When I am afraid, remind me that You are faithful. When I am uncertain, teach me to rest in Your promises. Amen.
Team Wade loves you and is praying for you ❤️👊
