Standing Strong or Sitting Pretty

There is an old saying that refers to someone who thinks he has made it in life or appears financially secure.“ that person is “sitting pretty.” Whenever we feel we have made it beyond failure, all our battles won, it’s time to reconsider. We are most vulnerable when we let down our guard because we think we are beyond struggle or immune to common temptations. God has a path for us and our weakest and strongest moments, and it always involves connection with him and connection with other believers.
