Trusting God Through Change

“Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.” - ‭James‬ ‭1‬:‭17‬ ‭NLT‬‬

How do you respond to change? What feelings does it stir in you?

Change can be difficult, especially when something good seems to be fading away or when a favorable situation has a clear end in sight. When relationships end, it can be heartbreaking. Life is full of changing seasons, and this can leave us feeling uncertain or out of control.

Yet God “never changes or casts a shifting shadow” (James 1:17).

He is steady, unchanging, and reliable. He is trustworthy through all seasons — good and bad. God makes Himself available to us and invites us to know Him through His Word. As you get to know Him by reading the Bible, you’ll discover that a relationship with God is the most secure and trustworthy relationship you can have.
