True Friendship
“A true friend is the best possession.” — Charles Spurgeon
“A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity.” — Proverbs 17:17
True friendship isn’t just about fun moments or shared interests. The Bible shows us that real friends love at all times—not just when life is easy. A true friend stands beside you during hard days, encourages you when you feel weak, and points you back to God when you lose focus.
Think about the friendship between David and Jonathan. Their bond was built on loyalty, sacrifice, and a shared respect for God. Jonathan supported David even when it was difficult for him personally. That kind of friendship reflects God’s love—selfless, faithful, and strong.
God also calls us to be that kind of friend to others. When we encourage someone, listen to them, pray for them, or stand with them during tough times, we reflect Christ’s love in a powerful way.
Ask the Questions:
Am I the kind of friend who loves and supports others consistently? Who in my life might need encouragement today?
Lord, thank You for the gift of friendship. Help me to be a loyal, loving, and encouraging friend. Teach me to support others the way You support me. In Jesus' name, Amen. 🙏
Team Wade loves you and is praying for you! ❤️👊
