Pay It Forward

"When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’” - ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭25‬:‭38‬-‭40‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Jesus in these verses tells his disciples that when they help the hungry, thirsty, sick, and imprisoned, then they are helping him.

It's like a turtle on a fence post. The turtle only gets on the fence post if someone cares enough to pick him up and put him there. There are places in life that you and I can only get as the result of someone helping us. Our loving others, serving others and teaching everything the spirit of God has taught us is the calling on our lives.

Today may we dare to help others get to where they can't get on their own. That can only be accomplished through the power of the Holy Spirit. May we also thank those who helped us get to where we would have never gotten on our own. It's serving God by serving people.

It's time to pay it forward!
