Digging Deeper Into God's Word

“Jesus said to the people who believed in him, ‘You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.’”

‭‭John‬ ‭8:31-32‬ ‭NLT‬‬

When we study God’s Word, it’s like opening a treasure chest full of gold. The deeper we dive, the more valuable it becomes to us. The best way to think of the Bible is not as a religious text but as a love letter from the One who loves us most.

As we prepare to open the Scriptures each day, we must stop to talk with the Father and humble our hearts before Him.

Open in prayer. Be observant. Interpret the Word in its context. Context is always key. The Bible is the best commentary on itself. It is living and effective, able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Go live it out.

Let’s go deeper!
