As a man, as a fixer, as a doer, nothing in life has been more physically, emotionally and relationally draining than trying to hold the planets in orbit. Far too often I have allowed my wanting to fix things to get between me and God.

I think one of the greatest lessons I've learned in my life was, if holy confidence is going to be experienced self-confidence must die

"Jesus does not offer to make bad people good, but to make spiritually people live."

We must learn to die to ourselves!
