Clothed in Righteousness

“You are as completely justified by the righteousness of Christ as you ever can be; you are covered with his righteousness, and heaven itself cannot provide a robe more spotless.” — Charles Spurgeon

“For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins. For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood.” Romans 3:23-25a NLT

The true sign of having embraced this truth is action on our part to “love the Lord our God, with all our heart, soul, mind and strength and love our neighbor as ourselves.” When we walk in this obedience, we will then “Go and make disciples.”
