Aligning Your Heart

Prayer isn’t just about asking; it’s about aligning our hearts with God.

One key condition is faith. In James 1:6 we’re told to ask without doubting. Faith doesn’t mean we never struggle; it means we choose to trust God even when we don’t see immediate results.

Another is obedience. 1 John 3:22 reminds us that we receive from God when we keep His commands and do what pleases Him. A life that seeks God daily creates a clear pathway for prayer.

Right motives also matter. James 4:3 warns that selfish desires can hinder our prayers. God answers prayers that align with His will, not just our wants.

Finally, relationship is at the center. Prayer isn’t a formula; it’s a conversation with a loving Father. As we draw closer to Him, our desires begin to reflect His heart.

Ask yourself: Am I trusting God, walking with Him, and seeking His will in my prayers?
