Jesus Really Does Get Us
Sometimes it feels like no one truly understands what we’re carrying—our stress, disappointment, loneliness, or pain. But Jesus does. He doesn’t just know about suffering; He experienced it Himself.
“For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.” — Hebrews 4:15 (NKJV)
Jesus understands rejection. He understands grief. He understands being misunderstood, exhausted, and deeply troubled. When Lazarus died, “Jesus wept” — John 11:35 (NKJV). In Gethsemane, He felt overwhelming sorrow. On the cross, He bore unimaginable pain. He entered fully into human suffering so we would never have to suffer alone.
Because He “gets us,” we can come to Him honestly—without pretending, without fear.
“Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” — 1 Peter 5:7 (NKJV)
Whatever you’re facing today, Jesus not only sees it—He understands it. And He invites you to bring it to Him.
Jesus, thank You for understanding me completely. Thank You that I never have to hide my struggles from You. Help me trust that You care, that You are near, and that You truly get me. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Team Wade loves you and is praying for you ❤️👊
