The Great Physician
"The gospel does not come to us as a premium for virtue, but it presents us with forgiveness for sin. It is not a reward for health, but a medicine for sickness." — Charles Spurgeon
“When Jesus heard it, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”” Mark 2:17 NKJV
In the grand narrative of the Bible, it is awesome to know that Jesus came not for the righteous but for us, sinners. His mission was focused on those who have felt lost, broken, or unworthy. This is a reminder that no matter where we find ourselves or what we have done, Jesus’s love is for everyone. As we go about our day, let’s reflect on the idea that Jesus actively seeks the lost, lovingly reaching out to us. This challenge invites us to embrace His forgiveness and realize our significance in His eyes. God's word declares that our past doesn’t define us; instead, it is our relationship with Jesus that holds the power to transform our lives.
Team Wade is praying for you and loves you and there’s nothing you can do about it! ❤️👊
