Recognizing the Signs

In The Gospel of Matthew 16:3, Jesus told the people that they could read the weather by looking at the sky, yet they struggled to recognize the “signs of the times.” His words remind us that God is always at work in the world, and He invites us to stay spiritually alert.

The signs of the times are not meant to cause fear but to draw us closer to God. Events in the world; changes in culture, challenges, and even hardships; can remind believers that God’s plan is unfolding. Scripture encourages us to stay watchful, faithful, and hopeful.

In The Gospel of Luke 21:28, Jesus said that when these things begin to happen, we should “stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” This means that instead of panic, our response should be faith, readiness, and trust in God’s promises.

Ask yourself today:

• Am I paying attention to what God is doing around me?

• Is my heart prepared and focused on Him?

• How can I live faithfully in these times?

Father, help me recognize the signs of the times with wisdom and faith. Keep my heart steady and focused on You. Teach me to live faithfully and share Your love in a changing world. Amen.

Team Wade loves you❤️👊
