Vital signs- Tuesday, January 17th, 2023

God, in His perfect way, has led us to Himself. We have the free will to choose God, but He has the sovereignty and power, and He, in His own timing, chose to make Himself known to us. We might sometimes try to take the reins in our Christian walk, but we would do well to remember that it was His idea that we enter into a love story with Him - and that He chose to redeem you.

“But now, thus says the Lord, your Creator, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel, “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine!”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭43‬:‭1‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

Pray with me-

Thank You, God, that You as a loving Father have drawn me close to Yourself. You chose to make Your love clear to me. You chose to give me Your only Son, Jesus. You chose to reveal the Gospel of Your salvation to me and to bring me into new life. I belong to You because You chose me, and no one who You choose will ever leave the palm of Jesus’ hand. I choose today to believe that this was Your design: my life is not random, meaningless, or formless, but that it has been carefully woven with the purpose of me meeting and knowing Your love through Christ Jesus. I choose to bow to Your will and what You want for me – Your ideas are the best. My identity is that I am a Christian because You chose to lead me to You! And I say yes to this beautiful love story. Amen.
