Serving Through Our Gifts

“We have good reason for serving others when we remember the humility of our Lord.” — Charles Spurgeon

“Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave— just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” - ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭20‬:‭26‬-‭28‬ ‭NIV‬‬

One of my all-time favorite things to teach is the motivational and spiritual gifts taught to us through the Word of God. To discover our gift given by the Spirit of God is to discover one of the greatest truths that mankind can learn when it comes to operating in the fullness of God. Gifts are not given for our own benefit but for the benefit of others.

But having knowledge of it is only half. To be empowered by the Spirit of God and to operate in our spiritual gifts is an all-time high and the fulfillment of purpose that the believer can ever journey into. Don’t be satisfied with knowledge. Allow that knowledge to give birth to application and dare to live the life God intended you to live.

Let us remember that as great as the gifts are, we should never worship the gift but always the gift giver.

Team Wade loves you and is praying for you ❤️👊
