Just Be Still

“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” - ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭14‬:‭14‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We spend so much of our lives trying to fix, fight, or figure things out on our own. When the pressure mounts, our first instinct is to move fast. Yet sometimes the most faithful thing we can do is stop. Be still. Trust that God is already working where we cannot see.

The Israelites stood trapped between Pharaoh’s army and the Red Sea, convinced it was over. But God was not asking them to perform a miracle. He was asking them to stand still long enough to witness one.

Faith doesn’t always call us to action, it sometimes calls us to rest in the action of God.

Take a moment today to pause, breathe, and remember: stillness is not surrender; it is confidence that God is who He says He is.

Team Wade is talking to the Lord about you!
