Need for Salvation

We all know people who don’t understand, grasp, or desire the good news of Jesus. Their lives may appear happy but as followers of Jesus, we know that a truly abundant life as well as our eternal security can only come from Jesus. Let’s pray for the people in our lives who need Jesus and also use it as we cry out to God for those around our world whom we don’t know. For it’s God’s desire that no one should perish. 

Pray with me

God You so loved the world that You gave Your only Son, and when _______ believes in Jesus, they’ll have eternal life. Their salvation is found in no one else for there is no other name under heaven given to man by which they can be saved! Help them to know that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life and that they can only get to You through Jesus. To those who receives Christ, and to those who believe in His name, You give them the right to become Your children and co-heirs with Christ. God, be their rock, their fortress, and their Savior! For it’s by grace they have been saved, through faith—not from themselves, it’s Your gift to them. God, Your great mercy has given them a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. And their inheritance is kept in heaven and will never perish, spoil, or fade. Help them to hold to Your teachings, and in turn, know the truth, so that the truth can set them free! They have been crucified with Christ and they no longer live, but Christ lives in them. Lord, they’ll live by faith in Jesus, who loves them and gave Himself for them.
