It Is Well With My Soul
“You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.” — Isaiah 26:3 (NKJV)
“It is well with my soul” doesn’t mean life is easy—it means your heart is anchored in God even when life feels uncertain. Peace isn’t the absence of trouble; it’s the presence of Christ in the middle of it.
The writer of “It Is Well With My Soul,” Horatio Spafford, wrote those words after deep personal loss. His faith reminds us that sorrow and trust can exist together. You can grieve, struggle, and still say, “Lord, I trust You.”
Jesus said: “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you… Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” — John 14:27 (NKJV)
Whatever you’re carrying today—stress, uncertainty, disappointment, or pain—bring it to God. His peace can steady your soul even before your circumstances change.
Lord, help me rest in Your peace today. Even when I don’t understand what You’re doing, teach my heart to trust You and say, “It is well with my soul.” In Jesus' name, Amen.
Team Wade loves you ❤️👊
