When Sleep Won’t Come
“Be still, and know that I am God…” — Psalm 46:10 (NKJV)
Even though the Father has answered my prayer, the sleep still doesn’t come. In this quietness in the middle of the night, the world slows down and distractions fade. There is something deeply comforting about being alone with God. The silence becomes sacred, and His presence feels near.
Nighttime often reveals what our busy days hide—our worries, prayers, fears, and hopes. Yet God meets us there, not with condemnation, but with peace. He listens to every whispered prayer and understands every unspoken thought.
“I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.” — Psalm 4:8 (NKJV)
Sometimes the most powerful moments with God happen when no one else is around. No performance. No noise. Just you, your heart, and the Lord who never sleeps nor leaves your side.
Tonight, take a moment to pause. Breathe deeply. Talk to Him honestly. Let His peace quiet your heart and remind you that you are never alone.
Lord, in the quiet of this night, help me to rest in Your presence. Calm every anxious thought and draw me closer to You. Help me to just breathe. Thank You for being near even in silence. Fill my heart with Your peace and remind me that You are always watching over me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
It is well with my soul.
Team Wade loves you and is praying for you ❤️👊
