Confess to One Another

“Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed.” — James 5:16 (NKJV)

Confession is more than admitting wrongs—it is an act of humility that brings honesty into our relationships and our walk with God. When we keep struggles hidden, they often grow in the dark. But when we confess to trusted fellow believers, we invite prayer, accountability, encouragement, and healing.

This verse reminds us that the Christian faith is not meant to be lived alone. God often works through His people to bring restoration and strength. Confessing to one another doesn’t mean sharing every detail with everyone; it means being open and truthful with mature, trustworthy believers who can pray for us and help us grow.

Is there an area of your life where secrecy is preventing growth or healing? Consider bringing it before God and sharing it with a trusted Christian friend who can pray with you.

Father, give me the humility to walk in truth and the courage to be honest when I need help. Surround me with godly people who will pray for me and encourage me in my faith. Bring healing and freedom where I need it most. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Team Wade loves you and there’s nothing you can do about it 👊❤️
