A Firm Foundation

“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:” — Matthew 7:24 (NKJV)

A strong building begins with a strong foundation. In the same way, every believer needs a firm spiritual foundation rooted in Jesus Christ and His Word. Life brings storms, challenges, temptations, and uncertainties, but those who build their lives on Christ can stand firm when difficulties arise.

A firm foundation is more than hearing God’s Word—it is obeying it. As we trust God, pray, study Scripture, and live according to His truth, our faith grows stronger. The strength of a believer is not found in circumstances but in the unchanging character of Christ.

When trials come, they reveal what our lives are built upon. If our foundation is Christ, we can remain steady, knowing that He is faithful and able to sustain us through every season.

Hold to this truth: A believer whose life is built on Christ and His Word will stand firm, no matter what storms may come.

Heavenly Father, thank You for being my firm foundation. Help me not only to hear Your Word but also to obey it. Strengthen my faith so that I may stand firm through every challenge. Build my life on Jesus Christ, the solid Rock, and guide me in Your truth each day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Team Wade loves you and there’s nothing you can do about it 👊❤️
