Gifts

As we study out, the seven motivational gifts, let us, be reminded that the gifts are given by the Holy Spirit of God for the purpose of serving others and to glorify God .

“It is the one and only Spirit who distributes all these gifts. He alone decides which gift each person should have.” - ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭11‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The Prophet

The biblical Prophet is not only one who foresees the plans of God, but they also forth tell the mind and the heart of God. That is they proclaim the truth that already has been spoken and bring sin to light. The Prophet is very black-and-white. They do not hang out in the gray areas.

If we don’t understand this about the person with a gift of prophecy, conflict will result, and someone’s going to get offended. A misuse of this gift could be insensitivity and lack of mercy, so we must use our gifts with love, empowered only by the Holy Spirit God.
