Vital signs- Thursday, January 12th, 2023

We come to a knowledge that we do not yet have by opening our hearts and ears to our Teacher. If we seek knowledge without God, we might be led astray with false doctrine by voices that have impure motives. How great is God that He chooses to stay very close to us as our Rabbi! Let us seek knowledge about our lives and who Jesus is by asking the Holy Spirit to lead, guide, and counsel us.

"The Lord God has given Me the tongue of disciples, That I may know how to sustain the weary one with a word. He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear to listen as a disciple.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭50‬:‭4‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

Pray with me-

God, thank You that You are my Teacher! You have made known to me the mystery of Your will. You Yourself have taught me and are teaching me who You are and what life with You is about. I am sorry that I felt lost because I did not believe You would teach me. I am sorry for the times I have chosen to seek knowledge without You. Today I choose to believe that You are my Teacher and that I can learn everything I need to know with Your help. Please help me to seek Your wisdom, Your knowledge, Your guidance. Make my heart ready like fertile soil to receive the seed of Your Word. Amen.
