Vital signs

If you want to know God, you need to know Jesus! 

If you want to hear from God, listen to Jesus! 

Jesus is God’s best message to the world. Jesus is God’s fullest and most complete revelation of Himself to this world. God continues to reveal Himself to us in the story of the gospel that culminates in the person and work of Jesus. Jesus perfectly mirrors God’s character and nature to us. 

God has not left us in the dark; He is not hiding from us. We can know Him!

How big is your view of Jesus? 

For some, Jesus is a good moral teacher.

For others, Jesus is a religious myth or fairy-tale.

Still others, Jesus is just an historical figure but not really worthy of worship. 

For the author of Hebrews, however, Jesus is of infinite worth and profoundly relevant to our lives. 

The author of Hebrews uses some of the loftiest language in the New Testament to describe Jesus. 

Jesus is the owner, creator, and upholder of all things.  

Jesus perfectly mirrors the character and nature of God. 

Jesus is real, relevant and magnificent, and Hebrews will help you see why! 

”Long ago God spoke many times and in many ways to our ancestors through the prophets. And now in these final days, he has spoken to us through his Son. God promised everything to the Son as an inheritance, and through the Son he created the universe. The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. When he had cleansed us from our sins, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven. This shows that the Son is far greater than the angels, just as the name God gave him is greater than their names.“
