Armed Against the Enemy

“Satan will take great delight in ruining you.” — Charles Spurgeon

Yes, Satan is like a roaring lion roaming about seeking whom he may devour. But he has forgotten that greater is He (God) that is in you than he (Satan) that is in the world. The enemy only has access to that which we give him.

Father in heaven, holy is Your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever and ever. Amen!

Staying in prayer and the Word will definitely get the attention of the enemy—but it’s how we overcome, and it is our certain weaponry.
