The Holy Spirit Is Our Captain

“However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth…” — John 16:13 (NKJV)

A ship without a captain drifts wherever the wind and waves take it. In the same way, a Christian who ignores the leading of the Holy Spirit will struggle to stay on course. God never intended for us to navigate life alone. He has given us His Holy Spirit to direct, convict, comfort, and strengthen us.

The Holy Spirit is our Captain, steering us through calm seas and fierce storms. He warns us of danger, points us toward righteousness, and reminds us of God’s promises. Our responsibility is not to take over the helm but to surrender control and follow His leading.

There will be times when the Spirit’s direction challenges our plans or calls us into unfamiliar waters. Yet we can trust that our Captain sees what we cannot. He knows the destination and the safest path to get us there.

Today, don’t fight for control of the ship. Yield to the Holy Spirit’s guidance, trusting that the One who indwells you will faithfully lead you according to God’s perfect will.

Heavenly Father, thank You for giving me the Holy Spirit to lead and guide my life. Help me to surrender my own plans and follow His direction each day. Give me ears to hear His voice and a heart willing to obey. Keep me on the course You have set for me and make me faithful until I reach the harbor of Your presence. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Team Wade loves you and is praying for you ❤️👊
