“Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me. Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.” - John‬ ‭15‬:‭4‬-‭5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Abiding in Christ

So how do we abide and stay close?

Stay clean: Constantly confess any and all sin.

Stay in God’s Word.

Pray always.

Walk in obedience.

Walk in love toward others.

We must learn to work while abiding in Christ (Being), not instead of abiding (Being).

Father,

Today, help us to start abiding and stop trying to earn Your love. Help us to receive it and rest in it.

We long to “Be.”
