Sin is not in charge of me anymore-

Do you ever feel like you just can’t escape your sinful nature? Sometimes we feel trapped by those old habits, despairing because we seemingly cannot resist temptation. We feel like we keep making the same mistakes, over and over again - almost as if we are slaves to sin. On the cross, Jesus died to break sin's power over us. His death is enough! The truth is that sin is no longer our master – that’s a truth to be believed!

Thank You, Jesus, that I am completely set free from sin – that’s what You say, and I choose to believe this today. Where I am still doubting, and Satan is still tempting me to believe that sin is my master, I pray that You would help me believe Your truth instead. God, You alone know the pain that sin has brought into my life, my own sins, and the sins of others. You know how much I have tried on my own to be free, and now I believe that You have bought my freedom for me. Amen.

”We know that our old self was crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin. For one who has died has been set free from sin.“

‭‭Romans‬ ‭6‬:‭6‬-‭7‬ ‭ESV‬‬
