Grace for the Unworthy
“I feel myself to be a lump of unworthiness, a mass of corruption, and a heap of sin apart from his almighty love.” — Charles Spurgeon
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9 NKJV
In reflecting on our unworthiness, we come to realize that as humans, we fall short of God’s perfection. The Bible teaches us that we are inherently flawed and sinful. However, this acknowledgment is not meant to bring us despair but to invite us to experience God’s grace. Understanding our unworthiness allows us to embrace God’s love more deeply, making us grateful for His unwavering acceptance.
This journey helps us appreciate that God does not love us because of what we do, but simply because we are His children.
Team Wade loves you and is praying for you! Stay safe, stay warm! ❤️👊
