The Size of Our God
When life feels overwhelming, it’s usually because our problems look bigger than our perspective. But Scripture constantly reminds us that our God is not just big—He is beyond measure.
“Behold, the nations are as a drop in a bucket… And are counted as the small dust on the scales.” (Isaiah 40:15, NKJV)
The things that shake us—school stress, friendships, family worries, the future—are tiny compared to God’s power. The same God who created galaxies also cares about the details of your life. Nothing you face is too large for Him, and nothing you carry is too small for Him.
Jeremiah reminds us who we’re trusting:
“Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth… There is nothing too hard for You.” (Jeremiah 32:17, NKJV)
When we truly understand the size of our God, fear starts to shrink. Anxiety loses its grip. Faith grows. We stop asking, “How will this work?” and start saying, “God is bigger.”
Today, whatever feels huge in your life—place it next to God. Then leave it there.
Lord, help me see You as You truly are—powerful, sovereign, and near. When my problems feel big, remind me that You are bigger. I trust You with everything today. Amen.
