Vital signs- Monday, October 17th, 2022

One of the most useful tools on my phone is the appointment reminder. These reminders keep me on schedule and help me to plan my day.

Today's reading gives us two reminders of how to prepare ourselves for worship. This Psalm encourages us to come before God with joyful songs and enter his presence with thanksgiving and praise. The times we least feel like worshipping are the times when choosing to worship is most necessary.

Heres my challenge today-

Don't just schedule meetings; set a reminder to spend time praising God. Make an appointment on your phone or calendar that will prompt you to pause and praise God today.

“Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth. Serve the Lord with gladness and delight; Come before His presence with joyful singing. Know and fully recognize with gratitude that the Lord Himself is God; It is He who has made us, not we ourselves [and we are His]. We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter His gates with a song of thanksgiving And His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, bless and praise His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy and lovingkindness are everlasting, His faithfulness [endures] to all generations.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭100‬:‭1‬-‭5‬ ‭AMP‬‬
