God is more than enough

He is the one that completely satisfies our souls! He made us to know Him and to be known by Him, and He is the chief purpose of our lives. All other distractions, philosophies, thoughts, emotions, possessions, and even other people should be second to our One Source.

Thank You, Lord, that You are more than enough for me. You have given me Christ Jesus, my saviour, my redemption, my reconciliation, my freedom, and my life. Thank You that I can be wholly satisfied in You and not crave anything else. Everything else is rubbish compared to the glory and splendour of You! Lord, I repent for holding the things of this world tightly, holding my ego and my own ideas so tightly, and holding others’ opinions too tightly – I let go of everything now through Your strength. Please forgive me for not counting everything else as a loss. I choose to believe that You are enough for me in this life; I choose to regard everything else as less than You. Please protect this truth in my heart and let it grow to shape and change the way I think about who You are to me. Amen.

“Not that we are adequate in ourselves to consider anything as coming from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God,”

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭3‬:‭5‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬
