Vital Signs: Monday, July 15, 2024

I understand that our lack of knowledge can often cause us to view situations and people in an incorrect light. I love the saying “We must spend more time seeking to understand than we do seeking to be understood.”

“I was a stranger, and you didn’t invite me into your home. I was naked, and you didn’t give me clothing. I was sick and in prison, and you didn’t visit me. “Then they will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and not help you?’ “And he will answer, ‘I tell you the truth, when you refused to help the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were refusing to help me. And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous will go into eternal life.” - ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭25‬:‭43‬-‭46‬ ‭NLT‬‬

When we begin to understand that God has not called us to fix the broken but to love them and walk with the them while he does the fixing, it’s then we find great joy in loving and serving Mankind.

May we all look at the world and the people there in through the eyes of Jesus. His love, his compassion, his heart, his willingness to forgive and his willingness to serve.

“Love God – love people – serve God – by serving people.”

Team Wade loves you and is praying for you ❤️👊
