Unity vs. Division

“How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity.” — Psalm 133:1

Unity is God’s design. It reflects His heart: Father, Son, and Spirit moving as one. When we choose unity, we choose humility, patience, and love. Unity doesn’t mean we all think the same; it means we commit to love the same Lord and honor one another despite our differences.

Division, on the other hand, is subtle. It often starts with pride, offense, or fear. Scripture warns us that division weakens our witness and grieves the Spirit. “A house divided against itself cannot stand” (Mark 3:25). When we allow bitterness or ego to rule, we trade peace for conflict.

Today’s invitation is simple but powerful: pursue unity. Listen before reacting. Forgive quickly. Seek peace without compromising truth. Unity is not passive; it’s a daily, intentional act of love.

Prayer: Lord, search my heart. Where I’ve contributed to division, forgive me. Teach me to be a peacemaker, to speak with grace, and to walk in unity that reflects You. Amen.

Team Wade is praying for you and loves you and there's nothing you can do about it ❤️👊
