Prayer is entering into conversational intimacy with God. Hearing the voice of God is one of the lost treasures but is available and meant to be normal. Jesus tells us not to go wandering off looking for pastures and looking for the life we seek for ourselves. He calls us to stay close, listen for his voice, and let him lead. If you hear the voice of God open the door of your life to him and Jesus will come closer. This is the very intimacy that we were all created for.

It is our rescue, our comfort, and a source of a million blessings.


Father , help us today to learn to hear your voice!
