I am a citizen of heaven
Being a Christian means that we will often see evidence that our choices and actions are countercultural to our world. We live by a completely different set of guidelines for life – the rule and reign of the King of Kings, Jesus Christ. We have an eternal destiny and have evidence of that destiny in how we live now. The Bible calls us citizens of heaven.
”Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone,“
Ephesians 2:19-20 NKJV
Let's Pray
Thank You Father that my primary citizenship is in heaven – this is my eternal identity. Thank You that this is how You see me: a fellow citizen in the household of God. I am sorry for the times I have been caught up in thinking of myself as a citizen of earth, working too hard for what the world wants from me. I am sorry for thinking of myself as a stranger to You and Your Kingdom. Please help me to see myself with a heavenly identity. Lord, open my eyes to see others the same way You see them. Teach me to have an eternal mindset. Thank You, Lord! Amen.
Team Wade loves you and is praying for you ❤️👊
