A New Year for His Glory

"We hope that God has been glorified in us during the past year, but we trust he will be glorified by us far more in the new year." — Charles Spurgeon

“Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13-14 ESV

This year will be different “if” we use history, our past, to do two things:

1. Reflect on the faithfulness of God and how He has brought us through and how He has blessed us.

2. Use our time this year telling “His-story” of how He has forgiven us and redeemed us rather than wallowing in our past.

This will bring the Father glory. The choice is ours. Which will we choose?
