Vital signs - Friday, February 26th, 2021

“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭11:12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

We will be wounded. Just because the battle is spiritual doesn’t mean it’s not real. The wounds you can take or in some ways more ugly than those that can come in a fire fight. Which is worse to lose a limb or to lose heart? To be crippled by shrapnel need not destroy our souls, but to be crippled by shame and guilt may. We will be wounded by the enemy. He knows the wounds of our past, and he will try to wound you again in the same place.

The kingdom of heaven is not open to passive wimpy souls who try to enter it by lying on the couch watching soaps. We will enter in through the blood of Jesus, and a fierce passionate heart.

Rise with passion and let’s go win the day!
