Vital signs- Wednesday, March 31st,2021

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.”

‭‭Revelation‬ ‭3:20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Wow… An invitation to know Christ as Savior yet he does not force himself on us. He knocks, he waits for us to ask him in. Yes first step of salvation, but the principle remains throughout our Christian life. You see we all handle our brokenness by shutting the door to our heart and throwing away the key. Problem is there’s no healing in that. The best thing is to open the door and invite Jesus into our brokenness. Jesus ask “will you let me heal you?”

He knocks through our loneliness, our sorrows, betrayal and rejection. Waiting for us to give him permission to enter in.

May our prayer be to invite the Father to come in to our shattered places!
