Gifts

“We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.” - ‭‭Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭6‬, ‭8‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Paul just gave us seven different motivational gifts:

- The Prophet

- The Servant

- The Teacher

- Exhortation

- Giving

- Leading

- Mercy

These gifts are motivational forces in our lives. As for me when I walk in the spirit, my gift of exhortation is encouraging people. But the opposite side of that coin is if I’m not walking in the spirit, I can be very selfish and hateful. The key here is operating in the spirit. We use our gifts to serve others and to honor God or we misuse them and people get hurt. Other times we don’t use them at all and find ourselves just existing. It is this place where life feels like it has no meaning, no fulfillment.

Beginning tomorrow, we will explain each gift in its part. But as for today, may we pray that God reveal to us which which gift or gifts that we possess and may we start using them for the glory of God and the benefit of others.

Team Wade loves you and is praying for you❤️👊
