The Gift if Giving

“Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.” - ‭‭Luke‬ ‭6‬:‭38‬ ‭NLT‬‬

We know that God is the giver of life. The giver of eternal life. The giver of forgiveness and restoration. God is the giver of second and third chances. The giver of blessings. The giver of comfort. A godly person does what God does. Godly person is a generous giver to the body of Christ and to those in need. A godly person is a river, not a reservoir. He allows the blessing of God to flow through him, not to be stored up for himself. The godlier a person is the more they love to give of their time, money, talent, wisdom, presence, and heart.

Today may we give ourselves away for the good and the glory of God .
