The Voice Behind You

“Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, ‘This is the way, walk in it,’ whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left.” — Isaiah 30:21 (NKJV)

One of God’s greatest gifts to His children is His faithful guidance. In a world filled with competing voices and constant distractions, the Lord promises that those who seek Him can hear His direction. He does not leave us to navigate life alone.

God primarily speaks through His Word, and the Holy Spirit faithfully applies that truth to our hearts. His guidance will never contradict Scripture but will always lead us toward holiness, wisdom, and obedience. When we surrender our plans to Him and remain sensitive to His leading, He gently directs our steps.

If you are facing a decision today, don’t rush ahead or rely only on your own understanding. Spend time in prayer, stay rooted in God’s Word, and trust that He is able to make your path clear. The Shepherd still leads His sheep, and His voice is always trustworthy.

Heavenly Father, thank You for promising to guide me. Help me to quiet my heart so I can hear Your voice through Your Word and by Your Spirit. Give me the courage to walk in obedience, trusting that Your way is always best. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
