Vital signs - Tuesday,January 10th, 2023

An author has a complex job. They must think about a story and describe it meaningfully, beautifully, and comprehensively. There may be twists and turns to the plot, but at the end of the story, the characters' destiny should become clear, and all issues should be resolved. In the same way, God has good things planned for the story of our faith. He has planned that our faith will be to His glory and salvation. We have an eternal destiny in heaven when we look to Jesus, the author!

“Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book were all written The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭139‬:‭16‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

Pray with me-

God, thank You that You are the author of my life. You are writing a beautiful story of Your love in me. Thank You that You tend, grow, and aim to finish my faith, polishing it up to be beautiful to You. I am sorry for the times I have tried to write my own story. I am sorry for the times I believed that You abandoned me and for when I didn’t like the work You wanted to do in me. I choose to believe today that You are in charge of my future, authoring it and perfecting my faith to Your glory. Teach me to receive it joyfully. Amen.

Today Read Proverbs 10
