“As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.”

Proverbs 27:17 NLT

CALL THE DULL

Iron truly does sharpen iron. A dull iron tool needs the correct sharpening device to maintain its edge. Dull swords are not sharpened with rubber. We, too, become dull without the best sharpener. We need sharp friends to help us maintain our edge. Friends who encourage and inspire us to be all that God has called us to be. We also need them to lovingly correct us when our choices are not wise or reflective of godly character. It takes great friends to sharpen us and help us grow into the best version of ourselves!
