Unchanging God

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” - ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭13:8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

I love the fact that regardless of how inconsistent we as children of God may be in so many different ways, Jesus Christ has never changed. He has always been the same. This is a truth we can hang our hats on. This is the truth that should drive us to Him without hesitation, never wondering if He is going to be mad or if He will listen or if He cares.

The truth is that because of who God is, He must love, He must care, He must listen, and He must attend to His flock. That is His nature and that is His character.

Thank you, Father, that regardless of how wishy-washy we may be, You are forever true, You are forever the same, and Your love never gives up on me.
